Pederobba - Treviso

Project idea was born and finds its foundation in the corporate spirit of Kalis, which over the years, in addition to professional growth, has marked a constant commitment in the social, environmental and ethical fields, to what today is called 360 ° "sustainability”. Starting from this spirit, architecture took shape: the new building develops around a central green courtyard, which is the cornerstone of the project. It creates a link between the existing complex and the new extension by inspiring a moment of reflection and synthesis. In fact, the garden takes on different meanings: from an ethical point of view, it represents commitment, a symbol of awareness; from a social point of view, it represents a meeting place characterized by tranquility and beauty; and from the technological point of view a continuous research. The façade is an element of continuity that gives the building recognizability and architectural identity, a sort of "fil rouge", which illustrates and interprets the business perspective of the company capable of capturing the essential elements by softening the building itself, with a landmark that enhances its belonging to the context. Tradition, innovation, sustainability are the keywords around which Kalis enhances its new business perspective. By using the ancient “Pisè technique”, the soil excavated is used as building material, through which sustainability and versatility become tangible elements of a commitment that puts Kalis perfectly in balance with the environment and which, from the point of evocative view, it represents the rooting to the territory, the historical memory and the ethical commitment. These premises, which aim is to achieve maximum environmental sustainability by combining energy efficiency and great aesthetic quality, highlight an entrepreneurial path that grows hand in hand with social commitment of the company.

An exemplary intervention for the way through which it creates a dialogue between the rural identity of the past and its present. The complete renovation of an original 19th century agricultural complex, located in Valdobbiadene in the Treviso Prealps area, authentic and exclusive cradle of the homonymous Prosecco Superiore DOCG, shows a careful mix between modernity and tradition.
